Island Solta
In its recent history unfairly neglected and isolated this Dalmatian island of rich Mediterranean vegetation, beautiful bays and clean sea, is the ideal destination for all of you who are tired of the city crowds, traffic jams and industrial pollution. For the preserved state of its nature island of Solta is the habitat of hundreds bird species, and lately even the almost extinct Mediterranean monk seal which only proves the cleanness of its sea. The main island`s port is Rogac, and Stomorska and Necujam dominate in the variety of their tourist offers, while Maslinica presents the oasis of peace and quiet. Fishing, olive and wine-growing together with ever growing tourist orientation of the island create a rich gastronomic and wine offer.
