Island Pag

Island PagInteresting vegetation of low aromatic plant cover dominated by sage and immortelle has favoured the development of sheep-farming and, with it, the gastronomic offer of one of the biggest Adriatic islands. Special flavour of lamb, and especially of famous Pag cheese, is contributed not only to the vegetation, but also to the richness of salt because of which old salt factories were created which today are very interesting to the lovers of photography. Apart from the town of Pag, attractive destinations are also Mandre, Simuni, and especially Novalja, which has lately become the centre of night life of the Adriatic youth. All-day parties on the beach Zrče sometimes provoke moral disapproval, but the young and those who feel young shouldn`t miss them.
