Tourist offer of this sixty kilometres long central Dalmatian Riviera is considered to be one of the most various. Split is the political and administrative centre and the main port of Dalmatia. The city is full of historical monuments, cultural and artistic attractions and numerous entertaining events. There is also a small historical town of Omis which although a lot smaller has a great offer and whose location on the mouth of river Cetina makes it even more attractive. These two tourist centres are surrounded by several dozen little picturesque coastal villages (Podstrana, Lokva Rogoznica, Mimice, ...) whose quality accommodation, lovely beaches and quiet nights will give you a chance for a pleasant vacation.
